About Moogerah Moogerah Dam is located on Reynolds Creek near Boonah, and was completed in 1961. Water from the dam is used for irrigation along Reynolds Creek and also supplies water to Warrill Creek and Warrill Valley farmers through a series of diversions. Moogerah is an un-gated dam, meaning that when it reaches 100 per cent capacity, water flows over the spillway and safely out of the dam.
